Your First Orthodontic Visit at Katy Park Orthodontics

We’re excited to welcome you to Katy Park Orthodontics! When you arrive, please check in with our receptionist to get started.

During your visit, the orthodontist will perform a comprehensive orthodontic evaluation and discuss treatment options with you and your family.

What We’ll Cover in Your Initial Orthodontist Consultation

Your first visit helps answer important questions, such as:

  • Is there an orthodontic issue that needs treatment?
  • When is the best time to start treatment?
  • What type of treatment is recommended?
  • How long will the process take?
  • What are the costs involved?

Next Steps

If treatment is needed, we will schedule an appointment for Diagnostic Records. In some cases, these records can be taken during your first visit.

What Are Diagnostic Records?

Diagnostic records help us plan your treatment and include:

  • Digital models of your teeth
  • Panoramic and cephalometric X-rays
  • A detailed treatment plan based on your records

Understanding Treatment Costs

Treatment costs vary depending on the complexity of the case. During your consultation, our treatment coordinator will go over pricing and payment options. We accept most insurance plans and offer flexible payment arrangements to make treatment affordable.

What’s Included in Your Investment?

Your orthodontic investment covers:

  • Orthodontic records, including X-rays and a personalized treatment analysis
  • Active treatment with braces or Invisalign, including all necessary appliances and visits
  • One set of final retainers for comprehensive treatment (Phase II)

Note: If appliances are lost, broken, or damaged due to misuse, a replacement fee may apply.

What’s Not Included?

Your investment does not cover:

  • Dental procedures performed outside our office
  • Additional treatment due to accidents, jaw complications (TMJ), or surgical needs

Insurance and Payment Options

We accept the assignment of benefits for most insurance plans, helping reduce out-of-pocket costs. If your plan doesn’t allow direct billing, we will file claims for reimbursement. Please notify us of any insurance changes to ensure accurate processing.

Office Hours and Appointment Guidelines

We respect your time and strive to stay on schedule. To help us provide efficient care:

  • Arrive on time for your appointment
  • Allow time for any necessary procedures or questions
  • Notify us if you need to reschedule

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our schedule running smoothly for all patients.
